This outdoor/indoor Mexico City market area (Calle López, Calle Bolivar, Calle Talavera, and more) is hectic. Storefronts and street vendors share space, one inside and the other outdoors. The storefronts are wide open to the sidewalks and streets. Street vendors setup shop formally or informally as they can. Similar products seem to occupy a block or so including stalls for food, clothing, religious reliquary, office supplies, used mobile phones, barbershops, outdoor beauty salons, the list goes on. What product do you want to buy? It's there. A hubbub of activity punctuated by a flurry of color all bombard the senses. Men vie with hand trucks to carry loads as cars and taxis inch bye. Official police are present along with private security persons. A boxing club is found on the third floor of a building. A big thank you to Keith Dannemiller, veteran photojournalist, on whose photo tour these images were taken.
